In a medium sized pan, heat oil over medium low heat.
To pan add Fideo, slowly allow pasta to brown and gain some color. Flip pasta as needed, approximately 3-5 minutes.

Rinse and chop tomato into halves and place into blender along with peeled garlic cloves, rinsed onion, 2 cups of water and chicken bouillon. Blend until pureed.

While pasta continues to cook, pour blended tomato mixture into pan. Lower heat as needed and cover for about 5 minutes.

Continue to check pasta for doneness. Add water and salt to achieve desired consistency. Top with lime, garnish with cilantro and serve.
